Okurcalar
Okurcalar ist the first suburb on your way from Antalya and
Manavgat to Alanya. Okurcalar is approx. 32 km away from Alanyas
city center and have 11,876 inhabitants. The famous historical
Alara castle is in Okurcalar and the famous Alara river infers
its names of this alone historical castle standing at the
edge of its bank. In the year 1996 this settlement was appointed
as municipality. Each 15-20 minutes there is a bus from here
to Alanya and back. In the year 1996 this place was appointed
as the municipality by Alanya.
Avasallar
Avsallar is the next place on your way to Alanya and is appropriate
for 23 km away of the center. Clear water and clean beaches
(blue flag) are the special characteristics of this area.
Avsallar has 8,493 inhabitants and developed in the last years
to a beautiful small town with its own city center. In Avsallars
shopping mile you will find everything what you need like
small health center and also pharmacies are present. Each
15 to 20 minutes a public bus from here starts to Alanya and
back. This settlement was explained in the year 1987 as the
municipality.
Türkler
Türkler is the next place on your way to Alanya and is
appropriate 17km away ot the center. Tuerkler offer clean
beaches and clean water cause its not over-populated. Türkler
has approx. 3000 inhabitants and develops to a popular place
for Europeans.
Konakli
As next place we reach the suburb Konakli a nice place with
28.000 inhabitants, approximately 15 km to Alanya. Konakli
has the oldest historical culture of this areas. Most important
source of income in Konakli is the tourism. The place developed
in the last years to its own small town, where one can find
everything, what humans wishes needs. Particularly to emphasize
is each Wednesday the bazzar, where the farmers of the region
sell their freshly harvested vegetables. Each 15 to 20 minutes
there is a bus to Alanya and back. This settlement was explained
in the year 1987 as the municipality.
Eastside of Alanya:
Oba
The first suburb after the city centre of Alanya is the beautiful
place Oba, approx. 3 km away from the center. This place was
named by the river Oba, which locates in the midst of this
suburb. The border of Oba reaches up to the beach area. Oba
is one of the most popular and most beautiful suburbs of Alanya.
Many foreign co-inhabitants found here their 2nd home. There
is a bus every 5 minutes to Alanya. Oba was appointed in the
year 1989 as the municipality.
Tosmur
As next place we reach Tosmur, approx. 3.5 km east of Alanya.
This suburb has 5,279 inhabitants. In this area mainly fruit
and vegetable are cultivated. A small Aquapark offers pleasure
for young and old. There is a small bazaar, where one can
buy souvenirs, textile and food. There is a bus every 10 minutes
to the center of Alanya. Tosmur was appointed in the year
1992 as the municipality.
Kestel
The next place which we reach is Kestel, approx. 7 km east
of Alanya. This place offers many culturel places to visit.
The Dimcave is the second largestof Turkey. In addition the
famous Dim Cay (River), a very popular trip, located in the
mountains surounded by a beautifull nature and many picknik
place where you can eat fish. In Kestel you will have the
opportunity to experience a true nature prospect. There is
a bus every 15 minutes to Alanya. Kestel was appointed in
the year 1991 as the municipality.
Mahmutlar
After Kestel we reach the suburb Mahmuttlar, with 23,000 inhabitants
the largest suburb and is appropriate for approx. 13 km east
of Alanya. It is a beautiful place, with 4.5 km long beach
and its own city centre. Mainly tourism, fruit and vegetable
farming are the most important sources of income of Mahmutlar.
Every Tuesday and Saturday there is a Bazzar where the farmers
offer their goods. In the center of Mahmutlar you find everything
what you need for life. There is a bus each 10 minutes to
Alanya.
Kargicak
Kargicak, has a wonderful landscape and is approx. 25 km away
of the center of Alanya. Kargicak has only 4,146 inhabitants
and is particularly by unaffected nature for nature lovers
much enticing. The first-class bananas are harvested in Kargicak.
Beside the cultivation of banana are cultivated here different
fruits and vegetables. Every 20 minutes there is a bus to
Alanya and back again. In the year 1998 Kargicak was explained
as the municipality.
Demirtas
The last suburb of Alanya is Demirtas appropriate for 30 km
east of Alanya and has 3,864 inhabitants. A small town, where
you can enjoy the voice of nature unimpaired. In this area
mainly fruits and vegetables are cultivated. The still unaffected
landscape in Demirtas is really fantastic. Every 20 minutes
there is a bus to Alanya and back. Demirtas was appointed
in the year 1992 as the municipality.
